Do you supply and/or install car wash equipment?
No, we are not an equipment vendor or installer. From our experience in car wash construction and owning our own car wash businesses in the past, we have the knowledge to consult with you on equipment placement/installation, but we do not offer the service ourselves.
What is the best way to keep car wash construction costs in check?
We can be of most assistance with cost containment when we’re involved in the car wash design process. In this case, we typically build a financial model of the car wash and use what we call the Design Triangle to help you build a financially sound business that financing sources can support. The Design Triangle consists of three legs: scope, size, and budget.
Working within the Design Triangle, we usually start with the budget and one other leg to determine the value of the third leg. This information is used by the architect to streamline the design and ensure it meets budget requirements.
Our design management services help you control costs from the moment of conceptual drawings through final engineering. We’re adept at helping clients maintain their budget—even in the face of increases in raw material costs—by recommending alternative construction materials and methods that save time and money.
What is your preferred method of construction for car wash structures?
The most cost-effective and practical methods for car wash construction that we have found use EZPVC as a method of alternative wall systems. These concrete forming systems use stay-in-place PVC or polymer forms to reduce energy consumption and extend the life of high-performance concrete structures. We’re also highly experienced in pre-engineered metal building construction (PEMB). With dozens of successful PEMB projects completed, we’re confident in recommending this approach when it’s the right fit for your build.
