Enter Elevate, a state-of-the-art travel center located in the Peña Boulevard Corridor.
This is much more than a typical travel stop. This facility, which is scheduled to open in the Fall of 2026, marks a shift in the arrival sequence through additional infrastructure, hospitality, and mobility that converge before a traveler even reaches the terminal.

Vertical Steel Is Up!
It’s always exciting to see a project come to life. A lot of planning, coordination, and hard work goes into getting to this stage, and we are proud of the team for continuing to push the project forward safely and efficiently.
These are the “bones” of the project. From here, everything else can begin to take shape.

- Expanded Cell Phone Lot Capacity
- Bar and Lounge
- Rooftop Deck Overlooking the Corridor
- Dog Park
- Reservable Conference Space
- Drive-Thru Starbucks
- Turo Integration
- 48-Pump Fueling Station
- EV Charging Infrastructure
- Shuttle Connectivity to the Jeppesen Terminal
This project is fully electric by design and aligns with DEN’s broader sustainability agenda, incorporating on-site solar and water reclamation systems to support LEED Gold standards.
Major Trends This Project Represents
Elevate is more than just another gas station, coffee shop, or business lounge outside the airport gates. This concept represents a new way of approaching travel altogether.
Projects like this are redefining the edge conditions of major airports. Not just throughput—but experience, dwell time, and revenue capture outside the terminal. Here are just a few of the trends that are worth watching:
1) Travelers expect predictability. (And they should!)
Travelers can arrive at the airport with confidence there is infrastructure to make this the best experience from start to finish, no matter what they need. Whether they are waiting for a flight, waiting on someone to pick them up, or the one waiting to pick someone up, every amenity is at their disposal at Elevate. We foresee that many more airports will follow suit to offer even more convenient access to work spaces, food, and spaces to recharge or refuel (yourself and your vehicle).
2) New questions are raised for design planning.
For architects and engineers, spaces like Elevate lead to new questions about how hybrid environments are designed, phased, and integrated into active transportation corridors. These high-value spaces offer a huge opportunity to become staple experiences for travelers, improving satisfaction ratings and space performance.
3) The rhythm of arrival is changing for travelers.
This slight shift in how travelers experience the airport has a large impact on their overall experience. Rather than feeling stuck in a single location and the offerings available within that structure, travelers can have more options to choose how their experience progresses based on their individual needs, timeline, and preference.
